- dish has a "lock in" price right now...mine won't change for 2 years...when it does i can call and cancel and get direct tv or negotiate a better price. i've done this for 5 years and it's worked every single time.
- why would i want to cancel when i'm locked in to programming and services that (a) i want and (b) i can afford? people use this as some kind of "freedom" but we all watch tv...hardly anyone is canceling service for any extended period of time. it's a benefit in theory only.
- with my subscription i can use dishanywhere to watch ANYTHING that is on my tv on my laptop, iPad, etc. either at home or on the road. and it's ALL channels...not just the abbreviated sling line up. besides this i can access my DVR and watch anything that's recorded on there. (currently about 100 movies and over 250 shows).
