Update! My neighbors and especially my wife and family are not happy right now. I did trap two skunks last night and I tried the water method with the Animal Control officer and I believe the skunks lose control of their scent glands when they die. The officer recommended euthanizing the animals as relocating them they just return in time. While the animals did not spray per say, their glands emitted gas that can be smelled throughout the neighborhood. Sorry family and neighbors, your poultry are more safe now though. Hope this keeps the deer out of the yard for a couple of weeks.
