Not that there are signs pointing to this happening, but who are the viable candidates to replace Tom Holmoe?
I know some on here have suggested Chad Lewis. Who are the LDS Athletic Directors in the NCAA? Anyone else internally who would be a good fit?

I'm LDS and I like sports so I think I would be a great fit.

fredy - been on CB for 10+ years, had a son recruited by BYU, not a donor so probably not good at fundraising

So, I'm still kicking the tires around here to see if it's worth $10.

Once you become a donor you'll break into my top 10 of potential replacements for Tom Holmoe

Wait you just became a donor today after 10+ years!!

I think Chad Lewis is being groomed to take over the top spot when Holmoe

Not sure BYU could recover from Santiago. I know I couldn't.

It would likely be considered a step down for him, but what about Danny Ainge?

Step down for Chad ... from associate AD to AD? Am I missing something?

Hmm. He said Danny Ainge.

I follow this and I think to myself, "what a weird bunch!" On any other board, there'd be name calling after the first

Let's face it Danny Ainge is at the peak of his career so any next step would be a step down; however, he could

How much lower stress would BYU be than the Celtics? He'd have to worry about

I don't see it happening. He is doing an amazing job with the celtics right now

I don't see it happening either, but I think he would be my number one candidate.

Steve Young? He's about Holmoe's age though, so Holmoe would have to leave soon-ish for him to be a viable candidate.
LilToney
4/11/16 6:52pm
Steve Young is 54, Holmoe is 56
CrimWalCoug
4/11/16 8:45pm
My idea of soon-ish is within 5 years, I don't know we could convince a sixty+ Steve to come out of retirement for us.

Yes, people would be begging Steve Young to take their money. No doubt
