Why are you even a BYU fan? It seems it causes you constant disappointment every year, unless you were alive in 1984. Even in 1996, yes we beat the number #13 ranked Texas A&M Aggies, but only by 4 and they turned out to be pretty bad that year, losing 6 games. Then, 2 games later we lost to an unranked Washington team. Our only other win over a ranked program in the season was against #20 ranked Wyoming, who hadn't really played or beaten anyone of consequence that year so their ranking was likely inflated. We did beat #14 ranked Kansas State in the bowl game, but if you look at their season, they lost to every. single. ranked team they played that season...and we only beat them by 4 with some late game heroics, while Colorado shut them out and Nebraska beat them 39-3. What a disappointing season that must have been for you.

My point is, is that with your approach to football, you can make any season look unimpressive. This season has been a ton of fun and is by all measures very successful, especially when considering the adversity we have faced. My advice is to stop looking for reasons to be disappointed and just enjoy the games.
