Hand written notes are great if you are an authority figure with little time on
your hands. People really appreciate hand written notes from the right people. A hand written note from the prophet or the President would be a family treasure. A hand-written note from the president of a company would show a great deal of sincerity.
On the other hand, they can seem a little stalker-ish if you are seeking something from someone in higher authority.
