My wife interviews for a job (this was 10 years ago). After the interview she sends thank you notes to the two people she interviewed with. She gets hired. Several weeks later, she is walking past the company mail boxes and sees both of her notes, unopened, inside the boxes of the two people she interviewed with. A lot of people don't deal with paper anymore.
