My one time elk hunting, I was fortunate to be on private land. There were 3 of us and we filled our tags in two days. The next morning we were at the local C Store where all the other hunters were talking about nothing being available on public land. Our 3 elk were from 3 different herds that were camped out on the private land we were hunting.
