[Edited] I've done over 250 DVDs and over 60 BDs with MakeMKV.
Using MakeMKV to rip them, I mean. I then use Handbrake to encode them to the format I want.
I don't know if this is still the case, but I went with MakeMKV for ripping because I was told and read that Handbrake wasn't continuing to develop their free ripper software for encrypted discs. I have no idea if that's currently how it is or not.
