Rather than having much in-depth discussion on a topic, we have moved to a point where there are just tons of new topics posted every hour. It makes the board more a collection of off the top of the head rants or raves than a discussion. I loved the TBS board which had many fewer topics but a lot more depth. I'm not sure what TBS is now but I'm very tempted to resubscribe and see if they still have the format that allowed for more "conversation" and less twitter like rants and raves that we have on CB now.

(just yesterday I was thinking on the same line of thinking you were and wondering if the board would be better if people could only make a few posts per day, and thus would make them more quality, or like TBS, people had to use their names and thus couldnt just troll or spout off completely ignorance anonymously)
