Go to a better resort. Won't cost you as much. Also there are many deals to be had, unless you want to pay full price.

Do you even want to go right now with the ski patrol strike going on? Half the runs are closed and lines are enormous

Then there are ski rentals, parking, and proper ski gear plus food. The vast majority of Utahns now never ski.
