Sure BYU will reward the guy that got them to 11-2 in Big XII by dumping him for
a portal guy. They may get a portal QB if they think those beyond Jake can't cut it long term but I seriously doubt they are looking for an upgrade for Jake Retzlaff. I think the coaches are satisfied with Retzlaff for next year.
BYU looks at the PR value from a Jew leading BYU and they really like it. I doubt the BOT (which trickles down through the admin to the coaches) wants to appear be dumping the Jew QB even if some fans think the team can do better.
