when the PreCheck line looks long— it still cruises past the general screening lines. Clear is $199 a year— I personally don't think it’s worth it. A lot of credit cards will give you a voucher for it. So, if you have one of those then go for it.

I know that PreCheck is accepted at Provo so I think there’s some regional/smaller airports that have it. But PreCheck has saved me time at JFK, LAX, and Minneapolis. Only time PreCheck let me down was in Atlanta. That’s just because that line was long. But still got through faster than the general screening.
