I’m a millennial, and have only missed 1 flight ever, but that was my gen Z
sister’s fault.
She picked me up to go the airport and I jokingly said “I almost forgot my passport”, just for her to gasp and realize she actually forgot hers. We would have made the flight, but we had to check a bag and we were 5 minutes too late to check our bag (have to be there 45 minutes early).
It was actually me being responsible that saved her upcoming international trip haha.
