I remember one time I was trying to drill a few holes in a tile backsplash to mount a bracket for a new microwave oven
I was using some stone/masonry bits I had around and after like an hour I had gone almost nowhere. An hour of work and frustration had just got a little indent into the tile where I was trying to drill. So then I went to the hardware store and bought a new diamond tipped bit meant for the tile, and when I got home I was able to drill each hole in like a minute. Huge difference.
