Especially during our first year. On top of that, some residencies are worse than others. I have a friend who’s residency was so terrible he actually had to be hospitalized for suicidal ideations/anxiety depression.

I also love the patient contact portion, being able to help people and feel like I’m worth something. But the fighting insurances and trying to learn the loopholes that insurance puts in the way but doesn’t tell you about is frustrating and very stressful
