Your comparison unfair, despite the similarities. I don't think it's "the same thing".

My point was that youth sports parents take it way too seriously, and have forgotten that sportsmanship is more important than winning. And that attitude is having a negative impact on our kids.

I ought to be able to state this without people saying "That's a you problem."

Or like you said, that saying this is "The same thing," as parents who complain non -stop about the reffing.
