Sounds like a great opportunity to teach your kid to not mimic the examples
that are around him. He’ll have to learn that sooner or later anyway. Taking your ball and going home over this would send a bad message to your kid in its own way.
That would also rob him of activities he thoroughly enjoys. Be grateful that your kid has activities he naturally enjoys, as not every kid has that. Manage the issues that come along the way but don’t overthink this.
