Damuni was taking more and more snaps. There wasn't going to be much left for wakley next year. He was great to have but the young guys behind him are already step for step with the walk ons and almost certain to take the lions share of the snaps next year.

Havea is a big body at a position badly depleted at BYU. It seemed like he would have had a shot to compete for starting time next year. maybe some of the younger guys Hill hoped to switch to DT are putting on size or showing better on the scout team than anticipated.
