(1) the cheap, Wonder-bread version that's terrible for you (I used to love it as a kid but now I can't hardly eat it - pretty sure that's a big reason why we're so fat) or,
(2) expensive, so-so "healthy bread (Dave's Killer Bread - better for you but doesn't taste the best, I'll give it up for Aspen Mills, that stuff's delicious but not as much nutritional value as you'd hope but at least simple healthy ingredients).
Not a lot of great fresh bread options since bakeries just aren't that big in America and if you do go to a bakery it's like $10/loaf - dude it's bread not gold bars.
And why don't supermarkets just crank out fresh bread en masse?
