situation all around for Hill and his HC desires (which I’m sure he has). And there’s been plenty of talk on this board that Hill doesn’t want to leave the state.

The whole state knows how good of a coach Hill is, and yet it’s looking like he’ll spend a large chunk of his prime coaching years stuck in the middle. Possibly to the detriment of BYU and Utah but we’ll never know.

6 months ago I was all for Hill taking over after this year. Didn’t think we’d sniff 6 wins. Now we’re in a spot where Sitake is a COTY candidate and Utah has their “phenom” in Scalley taking over. Hill is kinda the odd man out.

But imo there’s a realistic scenario where at least one of Sitake or Scalley is fired within 5 years (and that won’t be Sitake).
