I think some fanbases are better than others, and ASU is pretty bad
But your point is very well made.
It’s human nature to be blind to the shortcomings of our own side… BYU fans can be merciless when they have the advantage. The not smart enough + morally deficient combo cuts pretty deep, especially when you’re in a majority-minority area where being Mormon doesn’t carry the typical negative stigmas.
