After it has been running for a minute or two, can you see or hear an ignition
attempt?

Some furnaces have a spark igniter, while others have the resistive ones that heat up and glow.

If you don’t hear a spark or see the glow, you might need and igniter repair. Or this could mean that the sensor that detects if the impeller is working properly is bad. Or the impeller itself isn’t blowing like it should.

If you hear a spark or see a glow, you might have a gas flow problem.

Furnaces are fun!
