I moved mid life. Has pluses and minuses. Was hard on some of the kids and great for others. Income doubled, but so does responsibility and stress. Expenses have also increased but most of that is from discretionary vacations and recreation. You can never tell overall what the outcome will be.

I do believe in challenging yourself and progressing, but others may value ease and routine. Life is short and there will always be choices. Make your choice and be Happy with it… and if you’re not; Change your mind! Nothing is absolute and you can always choose to be happy.
