Tuskaloosa Cougar, you’re either new to the Holy War or you’re crazy😇
I love the Cougs too Tuskaloosa Cougar, and by your ranking of toughest to easiest teams left on BYU’s schedule I can see you love the team this year. I know BYU can win this next game but I personally believe it will be one of the top two toughest games left. Here’s my reasoning:

1. The bye has given Utah time to figure out their Offense with the new OC.

2. Utah will have time to get Isaac or whoever is QB1 ready to go

3. I really dislike Whittingham and think some of the things he has said or didn’t say-but should have puts him in the jerk category. But I will never underestimate Whittingham and his staff as coaches. Two weeks to right the ship is a blessing for the Utes

4. This is Utah’s Super Bowl. The Utes have been knocked off their high horse and I’m sure are hurting. The fact that BYU is where they felt (probably still feel this way) they belonged must make them sick. They would like nothing more than to beat us on their home field and give us our first loss.

5. I believe this is a secret that is getting harder and harder to keep people quiet. I wouldn’t be surprised if Whittingham has already told his players that he is retiring after this year. This is going to motivate the Utes big time. (Think back to LaVell’s last year.). The Utes are going to be way hungry to be bowl eligible for the seniors and their coach.

6. Finally, it’s the Holy War and most games in the last 10 years have been decided by less that one score. This is going to be one heck of a physical game for both teams. One team fighting for their lives and one team chasing history. I believe several players will limp off the field during the game with some not returning because of the physicality.

My Too Early Prediction:

In a somewhat ironic twist, a twist that will keep Gordon Monson lying sleepless in bed all night asking himself why and how did BYU do it, BYU will win this game due to their superior depth. For years we have read and listened to others say BYU didn’t have the depth to compete. In his 2nd year in the B12, Kalani and his staff have developed the depth that is needed. BYU wins this one in a hard fought game. I will not be predicting a score because there is an equal chance for the final score to be 9-6 or 48-34 BYU.

It’s Rivalry week fellas!!! Let’s go!!!

Go Cougs🤙
