We have a responsibility to be disciples of Christ. I don't think it does anything to fight against the musical. We of
all people should be careful about contention given that we have scripture that literally says it is of the devil.
The musical is what it is and I don't think it has stopped the work in any way. Anyone who is remotely intelligent can see that it's a ridiculous parody and anyone who has interacted with members of the church can see that it's not representative of their neighbors.
