used for employees to take meals at the office so that they could stay and eat at work instead of going out to eat. But instead of having food delivered, the employees were using the credit to buy personal items or have food delivered to their homes.

We had a similar program when I worked at KPMG - if you had to stay and work past 7 pm, you could order dinner and have it delivered to the office. The worst abuse I ever saw of that program was just people staying just long enough to eat and then leaving immediately afterwards. We just told them to stop being stupid and go home when their work was done. 🙂
