My great great grandpa had really bad cataracts, and was basically blind for
decades.
Well, he found out they had a new-fangled surgery that could fix it. So, he went in and had the surgery. When they removed the eye patches he could see for the first time in decades. Overcome by joy, he got so excited that he had a heart attack and died on the spot.
