Hasn't BYU done better now with the TP and the Big 12? It's more the naive assumption
that Utah is in the same position. BYU will win more often than not against Utah for top LDS talent. It should be that way.
But when they do, sometimes fans will assume that means BYU is beating Utah across the board at every position and Utah...headed to imminent demise lol.
Utah can now recruit at almost every position pretty well. 5-10 years ago, QB and TE were huge struggles. Now, both are considered recruiting strengths.
