I agree that I think Utah is going to fall off a bit, and to be honest, I think Utah's success was over-inflated in the Pac12 anyway, which I think was a weaker conference top to bottom and very geographically dense so it didn't require a lot of travel. But that being said, Utah has been solid, and Morgan is solid. I think going forward Utah will be a perennial 6-6 kind of team that's solid and a tough win, but struggling to be elite.
I do agree with you that part of that is due to Utah having less NIL available. Also, Utah is less desirable of a location if you're not LDS, and if you are LDS, BYU is now on a level playing field. BYU is better positioned with NIL as you mentioned, which is a blessing we need to be grateful for and not arrogant about.
