I prefer Kauai w/Big Island #2. In Jan. saw snow at Mauna Kea, green and black

sand beaches, whales, smoking volcanoes, other-world lava fields, a national park and gorgeous waterfalls. If that isn't fantastic, I guess Big Island haters just don't appreciate natural wonders. The Big Island is great. A helicopter tour is a must.
