That doesn't sound like a very good experience. This may not be the case,

but from the sounds of it, you may be going to an office that takes a lot of low level, low reimbursing insurance plans. This means he has to do more and spend less time with patients to make a living. Some of those plans you barely break even or even lose money treating patients.
