But I don't think without practice I could hit a 55 yard field goal even if given 50 tries.

Now granted I have played a lot of baseball and never even tried to kick a field goal in my life so maybe if you took someone who has never done either it would be equally hard? But I still think sheer luck you might get a hit but not get 55 yard field goal.
