You've unintentionally highlighted a massive logical flaw in your argument
All you're doing is saying "SEE LOOK AT THE POINTS...WE SCORED LESS THEREFORE WE GOT TOO CONSERVATIVE".
Let me ask you this..is it possible for ARod to make very aggressive play calls, but we still don't move the ball / don't score???
ARod can call a pass play with 4 verticals, but if all WRs are covered, Jake dumps it off to his RB for a 1-2 yard gain, then CB screams "THAT'S WAY TOO CONSERVATIVE OF A PLAY CALL!!! WE ONLY GOT 2 YARDS".
That's not how football works.
