make any sense. He puts players in the situations that make it very hard for them to succeed late in the game. My theory is that he doesn't really know how to tailor the offense to the player's strengths. A lot of times we don't have the talent to run what he is trying to run. And in game situations he doesn't have very effective alternatives to when plays aren't working. Basically, he wants the players to fit the system, not the system to fit the players. He is not really flexible in game or out of game to you make effective adjustments.
