BYU could never have success in today’s amateur sports

Especially not hoops. Yeah we beat a few decent teams and once every 20 years made a short tourney run, but to truly compete for things like P5 championships and national titles we need pay to play. No way around it. We should be grateful that things have gone how they have with NIL
