First was 15

We progressively got younger but they all got dumb phones.
Then during Covid they had some Covid reporting requirements and our youngest got a smart phone at 13. We put a bunch of restrictions on it which helped.
I think one of the difficult parts was my kids travel multiple hours for athletics. Last weekend my daughter traveled 10+ hours. That’s a lot of down time to use a phone.
