Heck, ask anybody chanting that at the game if their intent was to offend you. I promise you they would confirm that they are not your friend.
It’s an extremely offensive phrase. Sure, I just choose to ignore it. But why would I want to pretend that this is acceptable behavior. That’s an attitude that bullies thrive on.
