At any other position, the goal is to course correct before it costs you games. And it would be really nice if we didn't need to put ourselves a game or two back in the conference race to actually make a change. But for some reason, people love to conflate the team's win/loss record with QB performance, so any QB that wins games (regardless of the strength of the competition) must be doing their job.
