is just total garbage. I'm not calling you out. Many believe that to be true and it's becoming increasingly pervasive. I just find it to be total garbage. If it's true, we've done a generation a disservice in never teaching them to be resilient. Plus it's the only position where we seem to believe it.
Retzlaff was already told following last season that if he couldn't fix the turnovers he couldn't be QB. I also don't think it has to be permanent. When a guy seems to be getting overwhelmed, there's potential value in letting him observe a series and see things and slow down. Even letting Gerry get a series could have been beneficial to Retzlaff.
I don't believe that SMU thinks they have now totally destroyed their QB's (Stone) psyche and I won't be surprised to see him start for them next week.
