• 0-2 wins: Housecleaning, everyone is gone
• 3 wins: Long debate, resulting in either Kalani returning a dead man walking (horrible for recruiting) or (more likely) a housecleaning. So he's probably gone with this result, but if the team is competitive and there's some injuries or other excuses, then it's potentially survivable. 
• 4 wins: Kalani survives but is on the hottest seat, ARod is gone
• 5 wins: Kalani survives, seat stays about as hot as current, ARod likely (but not definitely gone)
• 6 wins: Kalani survives, ARod probably (but not definitely) survives
• 7 wins: Everyone survives
• 8 wins: Extension

BYU just doesn't fire coaches based on on-field results.  Or on-court. Who was the last coach BYU fired who was in line with the larger mission of the university
