The only thing worse than the HOA are the idiots who buy homes with an HOA and
then act victimized when the HOA does the things that everybody is paying for them to do, including enforce the rules and collect payments.
If you don’t want an HOA fine- don’t buy a home in a neighborhood with one. I am not a huge fan of our HOA but I also understand I made a decision to buy a home where I did.
