Does your company have a written policy prohibiting employees from discussing
compensation? We’ve had a few instances of loose lips causing problems, but not sure we have, or should have, a formal written policy stating “thou shalt not discuss thy individual compensation with anyone other than thy supervisor.” Thoughts?

You'd want to look at state law on that. My understanding is the law generally protects the discussion of compensation.
