The villain role creates an aura of confidence and intimidation. If it sticks and scales, could be helpful for recruiting. More coverage, more talk, more interest.
I also enjoy the confidence from the Big 12 fans. They talk as if the Big 12 is murderer's row for Utah compared to P12.
Yet, most Ute fans feel it's the opposite.
