Combine a low protein diet in a large calorie deficit with no resistance exercise and it’s a recipe to lose a lot of muscle with the fat.
Which, again is still way better than being too overweight, provided the person doesn’t ultimately yo yo back to their original weight, in which case it is worse (because they’ll probably be back at that weight with worse body composition).
