I just have zero desire to ever go to Mexico.
stories like these just creep me out.
My son served in Juarez and he saw some crazy scary stuff which I get. Juarez is a rough place. From a few side comments he's made, he's got some stories that he'll never share with us. While he did return last year for a conference that was in Chiapas, he doesn't really want to go back and definetly not to Juarez.
For me, all these errant caught in a drug war tourist deaths just freak me out.

That's fine i guess. There are places in Mexico where I would love to retire that are perfectly safe.
