It seems more useful to me to give kids a bigger “hand-up” earlier in their adult lives than after their are already
retired themselves. If I’m so fortunate to live that long, of course.
If you’re blessed enough to have a choice to spend on things with/for them earlier (which very few do, really); Why keep it all from them until you die?
