When they passed away that they had not made plans for grandchildren in regards to inheritance. Each of their children (in their 50s and 60s) received close to 250,000 and that was it. Fortunately we did not need the inheritance money, but it was good for me to realize that when I pass away I’d like to make sure the inheritance is better distributed. Especially for those who may be in a stage of life that they need it.
