Probably with the extreme fans. Too much data. CFP, AP rankings, computers, recruiting. Where BYU fans underestimate
is when they try to argue against the data points.
For example, all summer, BYU fans went on and on about Utah ending up in the MWC and not big enough for the Big 12.
That was purely emotionally driven.
Utah fans were open about the Big 12 as a floor and that Utah could accept an offer time.
Yeah, that might be overconfident but that's exactly what happened.
