These ain't season'd vets we're dealing with. They're very talented young men.
One reason for having Jaxson come off the bench right now is to get the other guys into a flow WITHOUT the best point-generator on the floor. Let them get the offense rolling before Jax comes in & brings it to another level in terms of potency.
This, of course, would have more to do with the other guys than with Jaxson.
If that's the logic, call me impressed with how well it's working. Cuz that's one benefit of the current rotation that I definitely see.
When Baker comes in & steals probably half of Knell's minutes (besides others) — I think we could possibly see Jax & SJ switch on the 1st & 2nd units. In terms of shot creation, pressuring the rim, & ball-handling — Dawson gives us some of what we're getting from Jax. And with the facilitation we're getting now from Khalif, SJ to the 2nd unit probably makes a lot of sense.
A 2nd unit comprised of SJ, Baker, Saunders, & Fouss — w Trey & Atiki as change — could be REALLY good. And if Adams is EVER allowed to play? Momma MIA!

Doubt minutes will change at all for major rotation players when Jax starts. Hall & Knell will play same amount.
