I don't think anybody - ever - thought that Utah Football wasn't good enough on the field to play in the B12. Maybe they don't come in and run the table like the X-posters seem to think. In fact, they aren't even the best of the incoming four corners schools (Arizona, this year).

But just about everybody except Utah fans knows that football ability is a relatively small component in conference realignment. I think it satisfies some strange ego of Utah fans to believe that their inclusion in the P12 and now the B12 is born of their superior football abilities.
